Everybody loves a sale and so do we! Last years sale was a big success and this one should be even better. This years deal should make everyone happy. You get to decide (hint, hint).

I've been thinking about a Rayzor with a 54mm MMT and a nosecone e-bay for the new tracker I'm building.

I'm thinking about a 54mm Scorpion to go with my 3" version, but in a more portable size...

I like your thinking!

I'm scoping the possibility of going the other direction. A 4" Scorpion with that fin planform reminds me a lot of the old Dynacom 4.1" Scorpion....which I like.

Hey Mike, can you do a 4" Scorpion?

X 4 :) I have had my eye on that sexy beast since I held it in my hands. I never did see it launch, do you have any videos of it in action? Has anyone played with the Ram intakes to have them exhaust out just above the tailcone?

Hey Michael,

Unfortunately I don't have any videos but I can tell you the VTS-6 is an excellent flyer. With a K445 it weighed 16lbs on the pad and flew to 4081'. It has also flown to 2340' on a J380.

Agreed - mine flys straight and true. I was a little concerned that if I didn't get the intakes and everything perfectly straight it might not fly straight, but that is not a concern - 2 flights both were perfect. Mike has done a great job on the balance. I haven't added any nose weight - except for I have the 54mm NC bay and I throw in a DC-50 dog tracker (the entire black portion with the collar removed) and some bubble wrap.
Next flight will likely be a J449 or K515SK was they start shipping again that is.

Mike, just unpacked the ARCAS I won at URRF (it's now building season). I can't believe the quality. Usually I have to square up the ends of the airframe tubes, but yours were spot on. Same with the centering rings, usually have to sand to fit,but not yours. Seems like this kit is going to put itself together.

Thanks Fred!

You shouldn't have to use every tool in the box to put a KIT together.

I always joked I was going to make Estes style instructions with icons for "lathe, power sander, drill press, miter saw" to match the ones for "masking tape, hobby knife, sandpaper" :)

My Zodiac is set to land here on Friday. I'm going to try not to dry fit it all and run around the house going "zoom....ZOOM.....pppsssshhhhhhhhRAAAAWWWWWRRRRRR" But no promises.

Your killing me:wink:. We spent so much time getting the new 54mm kits and components finished and available for the sale that I decided to hold off releasing the next offering in the "Missile Collectors Series" which is a...............but not an SR-71.

The 54mm Zodiac DD with a 38mm mount is my NEED list.

Order placed! I ended up going with the DD Scorpion with a 38mm nosecone bay kit. Realized I have too many rockets with 3 fins :)

I ordered a 3" Zodiac with a 54mm motor mount. This will be my first MAC kit, I'm pretty excited. Now I just need to get some 54mm motor casings. :)

We want to say thank you for the outstanding success the sale has been so far. March will mark the end of our second year in business and the support we have received from the rocket community has been amazing. Over the next few months we have the second kit in the "Missile Collector Series" coming out and something extra special in the 3" kit line. Stay Tuned!

Thanks again,
Mike & Patty Crupe
