Big Daddy 4 x 24mm

Whilst repairing my Big Daddy I looked accross my bench and noticed I had 2, 3" 4 x 24mm Centering rings that where begging to be put in the Big Daddy! So I sanded them down so they fitted inside the bodytube nice and snug , and spacing the centering rings apart I used a 8mm wooden dowel to add strength. I also replaced each fin with 3mm lite-Ply , and now each centering ring is 5mm MDF This thing looks sweet , I'll post some pics when the epoxy fillets cure.

Heres the rocket stood up, with the repaired nosecone . Some scratches are still visible but that is because they went to far into the plastic.
