This is what you can do with a Big Bertha.

Mine is the Gemini Titan Bertha.

My Little Brother's is the Mercury Redstone Bertha (Bertha Bell7).

My Little Brother also won the spot landing event with his...pretty good for 11 years old.

The tip of the Gemini and the escape tower on the Mercury remove for flight.

Wow! Those are great variations. I love seeing semi-scale Redstone rockets.

On a similar note, I totally dislike the "tech" looking Big Bertha. They should have ditched the name and given it a more tech name to match the scheme.

Wow -- those pictures really take me back.

I remember getting up really early in the morning with my Dad to see those Berthas on TV lifting off from the Cape.

I'm thinking of planning a trip to Florida so I can go to the Apollo Saturn Bertha Museum ...
