When I first started designing and building rockets, I got a lot of varying and conflicting information. Some this was just because there is more than one way to skin a cat. Some of it was a matter of good information vs. bad information.
Compared to many on this forum, I'm still a beginner, but that means I still remember what it was like at the very beginning.
Last month I got the NAR newsletter and it contained a link to this series of videos.
https://www.nar.org/educational-resources/model-rocket-building-techniques/Just under the title is a menu of several videos.
I wish I'd had this a year ago. It is one of the best sources of information I've found and has cleared up some things, I wasn't sure about, even now.

Glad the "Model Rocket Building Techniques" helped out.
I wrote and gave it to the N.A.R. about 10 years ago.
