I sent my drone up to catch some beauty shots of my Apogee Zephyr coming down on its chute. Instead, I caught it in free fall. The shock cord pulled through its attachment to the nose cone. Of course the nose cone had the parachute tied off to it and drifted about half a mile away.

Shoutout to Apogee for an incredibly robust rocket (and rocketpoxy). The body fell from >600 ft and only needs minor superficial touch up before her next flight.

That is an amazing shot.

I know Apogee says the nosecone loop is reinforced on the Zephyr, but I don't trust those loops.
