I just wanted to report that I have successfully used Beacon Foam-Tac to attach the styrene wraps on an Estes Saturn V. I trimmed the wraps to a best fit, placed according to the instructions, and outlined the wrap on the body tube. I then applied the Foam-Tac only to the body tube. I used a decent amount with the applicator tip drawing back and forth between the pencil marks. I then reapplied the wrap, adjust as necessary, then held till the adhesive grabbed. You have a minute or so for adjustment, and the full grab takes a few minutes.

I am not finished the build yet, but the wraps are secure. Long term I can’t say what will happen.

Just another update about using Beacon Foan-Tac adhesive. I decided to use it for the Estes Little Joe II wrap. Really too easy. Very low to no VOC, no spray/overspray. Just went back and forth where it needs to be applied. Long term performance I can’t say, but will see.

+1 on Beacon Foam-Tac for Estes wraps!

Long term performance I can’t say, but will see.

My oldest Foam-Tac blued wrap has been on for about 1.5-2.0 years now.
As good as new - solidly attached, yet maintains some flexibility.

Good stuff.
