I am building my second Arreaxbee-HI, and I don't want to glue the nose cone to the upper body tube. I'd like to be able to use electronics in it at some point for working on DD and such. Do I use sheer pins? Small screws? I've searched around the forum but found nothing conclusive.

So it looks like I could do a friction fit with tape and sheer pins since I am not doing any deployment of the nose cone; just need to hold it in place. This should hold for a nominal flight. I will probably attach the nose cone with short shock cord to bulkhead just in case. Any other ideas are welcome.

Reusable plastic rivets are an option too. Less fiddly than shear pins, lighter than PEM nuts and metal screws.

Apogee sells small packs of them, but I get them in 100-pk from Walmart online or McMaster
