I have never seen or heard anything that conveys the feeling of the times, the significance of the event, the technical challenges that were overcome or the human spirit that drove the space program as brilliantly as this presentation by Bill Whittle.
It is quite long, as in four hours or so, but I was not able to step away. The first three parts are currently up on facetube, the fourth and final segment will presumably be uploaded in time for Saturday's anniversary.
I cannot recommend this series highly enough.
