Gathering parts... Got the .08 inch thick fins cut on Glowforge... Got the baffle weight down to 10 grams, but it's far to weak. Had many parts already. Having "issues" w the grid fins as others have mentioned. Kuririn, can I ask what settings you used to make your fins? They look great!

I used the plans from Apogee to build the pair of them: Falcon and Falcon Heavy.
The heavy was flown on D12-5/C6-3 with successfull separation and recovery on the second try.

Thanks. :)
I cutted them as through-the-wall fins with a CNC 3040 from polycarbonate. I messed them a bit during painting and glueing. For the Starship I am working on, I will add them on the very end after painting.

Just saw you asked about the grid fins...sorry for my answer to a question never asked. ;)

I've printed them on an Anycubic Mega X using my regular settings for ABS, but a 0.2 mm nozzle and a layer height of 0.1 mm.
In the end I reworked them piece by piece using some sandpaper an a scalpel.
