Well it finally arrived!

It has been a long time since I ordered this thing but it looks like it was worth the wait.

I just finished watching over 2 hours of instructional video on 2 CD-ROMS and this thing looks fantastic.

It doesn't really look too difficult (It is a level 5 model) but it looks like it will take a loooong time to build. There is almost an hour of video on masking and painting alone!

There are a lot of steps and at the cost of the kit I don't want to cut any corners.

I will report back after I get the nerve to start.

I've watched some of the videos, and I think they are an excellent way to provide instruction. Each is short enough that you can watch, and go do it.

I have an Estes Saturn V sitting built, unpainted, that I'll finish first. I also have a "few" other Estes Saturn kits, so I'll probably build one of the Estes 1Bs before the Apogee kit.
