Found a "Mash-up" that I like because it has Devo and Iron Man.
I don't care about the Iron Man movies, but I'm trying to apply my knowledge of weaponcrafting and composite tech to making myself some prosthetics that might help me be more functional some day. The VA is useless, so I may have a jig eventually that can facilitate my spinal surgery via remote control, using small motors readily available on Amazon. I'll feel much better doing it myself after watching ten thousand videos of surgeons doing it on youtube that I would with the VA interns and hacks anyhow. If I die in the process, it will be epic, but it won't change anything, but atleast I'll be out of my misery. I've never had a suicidal thought in my life, and do not plan on having any. The VA hates that about me, because it means they can not take away my right to own guns or be a normal human being. Thusly, they will do nothing about my back as far as surgery is concerned, other than send me to the lady who works me through the motions of the same PT excersizes I'm doing every day as a matter of everyday stuff, as if I'm not trying to alleviate my agony. They want me to hurt her, but I won't do that either. I am doomed by my logic to always behave in a rational and compassionate fasion, unless facing emminent danger, and when that has happened I have performed quite nobly too. Why must they like to see me suffer? I will not be their "Poster Boy" of why you should take away REAL CITIZENS RIGHTS.
I will conduct my surgey on my own, and the prosthetics I design will be to my liking after a few years of research, and then I will gladly share the tech with only fellow Veterans, that we may create a Heinlein-esque Society and aloft to the stars in search of future battles.
I am not a Number! I am a Free Man!!!
