I just finished the 17th and last episode of Strange Angel, on Paramount+. It tells the story of Jack Parsons, a father of American rocketry, and the founding of Aerojet and JPL. And his participation in the faith of Thelema.

This was a pretty amazing show. So well produced, though I'm sure it took the usual Hollywood liberties. I was sad they only produced two short seasons, but I imagine a mix of biographical drama, rocketry, and sex magic has a pretty narrow appeal.

It was well-cast and I looked forward to the next episode each time. At the end I longed for more.

Any other fans out there?

I read it as a sidetrack - p/o my interest in postwar / cold war history - was pretty interesting that APCP motors came from the same place. Interesting that Robert Heinlein's "Waldo and Magic" was likely inspired by him.

Cheers / Robert
