Anybody from Long Island NY?

Hi,
I'm new to the board and wanted to know if anybody was in the Long Island NY area that wanted to form a club?

I grew up on Lawn Guyland but have lived in the LA CA area since 1980. There already is a club:

I kept that club alive (with help from a great bunch of rocket folks) in the mid 1970s. And yes, it was exactly like "that 70's show" but with rockets.

Thanks for the Welcome, and the information. I spoke to that club but I was kinda looking for some people out toward the East end of the island. We have plenty of open space for low powered rocketry.
Now take it easy on me but..........GO YANKEES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh DO you? I am in Hoboken NJ and I could be convinced to travel to LI for a day of launching.

woah alittle late on this thread...

i live in bayside there so theres really no clubs around here except for the LIARS... (long island association of something something something)

there field is just too far away for me to go to often enough...

where exactly is this field anyway?
