Now that's what I call a Mongolian Cluster Rocket!!!I’ve got a serious cluster Jones! My biggest cluster launched is 14 bp motors.
I am building a 31 motor cluster for next season.
here is a photo of a sixteen motor cluster: 24mm and 18mm.

Clip whips. How do you plan to light them?
Throw those away!!!Clip whips.
why do you say that?Throw those away!!!
You can still buy flashbulbs ?K 1100, and a mixture of I435's, I300's and H242's Now for BP clusters I use Flashbulbs, one per motor. Throw those clip whips away!!

Looking at this picture, I swear that's Boris Katan'sSerious - not as serious as this:
I've flown a few Medusa nozzles....love them.absolutely love the picture in this post, hits the nostalgic vein hard.
1/2" launch lug, the "old" 38mm aft closures, the medusa nozzle on the K1100... great stuff
Excellent!30 motor cluster of C6-5's

2 flights so far. Used a flash pan to light it both times. 28 lit first flight, all 30 on the second
I have seen someone use a pie pan with a layer of black powder on the bottom that sits just under the rocket while it is on the pad. It only takes one igniter. I imagine the bottom of the rocket gets really sooty.Clip whips.
