Another scratch.

    Yeah, another one. I do a lot of scratching. I did an inventory a while back, counting up the bits & pieces I have.. Turns out I had about 5 engine mount assemblies. And I have more than a few tubes & centering rings & nose cones! So, paired them all up, made an evening of making motor mounts, and glued them into their tubes the following night of free time.

    Then, pulled out a few sheets of balsa from my stock pile, and start fin ‘designing’.

    This is the first of the 5.. 6 fins, 18mm mount.. nothing too special.. I like the little ‘chop’ in the front of the fin, where it meets the body tube.. I had planned to add a short section (like, ¼” ~ 3/8”;) of a BT-80 as a ring fin accoutrement, but it looked dorky.. So, it is as it is..

    That's cool. Looks like it was influenced a bit by the Fliskits Rockstar.

    I agree!
    I like how the nose cone and Fins are very pointy/angled
