We have the family Christmas party this year so my wife decided to ditch the window shades and we bought new blinds.

Well it turns out that the the hollow cardboard rolls in the blinds
are exactly and I mean exactly the same casing, diameter and thickness as an Estes D-12.

So I've got a lot of thick tubes ....what can I do with them?

Go into motor production and give Estes some competition?

Wasn't someone here on TRF just (a few months ago) looking for a source of 1 inch spacers to fill up the front of an Estes E motor mount when you are only using a D or a 24mm C?

Unless these tubes were purposely made as motor casings (paper selection, rolling pressure, minimum adhesive coverage, etc) I don't think I would trust them in that application.

Or here's a thought: .80 cal blowgun?
