Building two 75mm parrot kits with my boys. Very solid kit, great components

Will build it initially without the payload section, will use single deploy with 1G 54MM motors

Using Aeropack retainers, 4mm ubolts to attach the shock cord. Nose cone will have gps tracker (eggtimer) just in case.

Purple FG looks good, should be a very durable sport flier.

Completed, attaching the OR file, 4lbs ready for flight without motor. very straight forward build.

Needs a small amount of nose weight at this shorter length, once it has the eggfinder TX in the nose cone should be good on stability.

my boys will love these, they can decorate them as they wish.

Are those drinking straws that you used for the epoxy dams? If so, how did they work? I was thinking of doing that very same thing on an upcoming build.

Yes drinking straws, they work great. Use CA to hold them in place. Little bit oversized allows them to be squished a bit to make a seal once inside with the inside of the airframe. Used syringe to insert epoxy in the slots then the fins.

You can also use balsa strips to get the same effect.
