Amazon delivery using parachutes?

That would certainly be something. I can't with high reliability get things to return via parachute to where I launched them into the air. But then I am using thin plastic parachutes deployed by, you know, fire.

Question is what happens to the chute and control equipment, if it needs to be returned then shortly that means some has to collect it. Perhaps we will end up with lots of free chutes?

You could just forego the streamer completely and drop it. The package would still experience less abuse and damage than sending via UPS.
