My latest design Airy, is a 24mm to 18mm two stage.
BT-60 with a nice balsa nose cone (BNC-60AD) from FlisKits.
It is gap staged with holes in the centering rings for venting.
I really like the fin design on this one.
Rocksim says about 1000 ft with a D12-0 to C6-5 and 775 with D12-0 to B6-4.

Another good one Tony! With that color scheme it looks like a companion to something else of yours...what was that one called again(with the forward swept fins)?

Thanks guys.

Craig I think your thinking of the Syrinx.
That one is a 3x24mm cluster. I have a bunch if rockets with similar paint schemes.

Flew the Airy yesterday on a D12 to C6.
Great boost! Staged perfectly.
But I realized later that I mistakenly put in an 18" chute instead of the 14" that I had planned on. As a result in drifted off the field into a tree. :(
Much to high for our retrieval poll.
I'll rebuild it, I just need to get another NC for Jim.

I always pack a heavy duty rope with a throwing weight and a bow saw in my range vehicle (along with the lineman's pole, waders and machete).

I subscribe to the SpecOps rules of rocketry: :dark:
1) Win their hearts & minds
2) ALWAYS hit what you're aiming at
3) NEVER leave a rocket behind

ACK! Oh man, that's gotta hurt! I don't even remember this one going up to the pad. Sorry I missed it!

Well the rebuild is done.
I did change the paint scheme a little. I wanted the black stripes on the payload section to show up more so I went with yellow.
Hope to fly it today but the weather isn't looking too good. If not today it will have to wait until mid July.
