My dad collected airplane models. He passed away in 2011 and I held on to several models thinking I might build them. I have kept a select few but am hoping I can sell the others.

Some are still in the original shrink wrap, others are new just no plastic, and a few I'm not sure. All being sold as is. If your interested in something particular I can send additional pictures.

Some of these are 50 plus years old. The newest ones are at least 15 years.

Please PM me if your interested.

You have a few in there that could be of interest to collectors! While there are a couple in there that are tempting, I know better, they'll just add to this pile of unbuilt stuff downstais and I'll never be able to make it into my hobby cave again.

BUMP

Anyone got any suggestions, I'd love to get these to somebody who would build them.

My suggestion, if nobody here wants them, would be to ebay them (much as I think that is a pain). That way you know whoever is willing to pay for them (+ shipping) is going to build them.

Might try advertising over on FineScaleModeller's website, would be a better audience for them.

Some old Airfix stuff in there that may be good for collectors but not really sure if any of the Revel or Monogram stuff will be worth much.

What is that one on the bottom right, looks like Pre/Early WW-I type stuff?

Contact John Boren (JumpJet here on TRF) he is more into plane kits than rockets.
He maybe able to point you to a forum or a place to sell them where they will get much more exposure.
There is a few I would like to try my hands out on, but SSDI hasn't started yet.
From one who also lost his father, you might just want to hang on to a few.
I have a couple things I'm holding onto from my father.
Good Luck

Woody,

Thank you, I am keeping several, these are just the ones I'm selling.

I'd suggest googling for a local IPMS chapter. They'd be thrilled to help, or buy. Could save a lot of shipping hassle.

IPMS is the International Plastic Modeler's Society. Not to be confused with the Iowa Podiatric Medical Society also known as the IPMS.
