Justin,
29K is a great flight. What motor combination did you use?
Have you recorded any roll issues between your 4-fin booster and your 3-fin sustainer?
@ECayemberg made the research motors for the flight, 5 grain 98, M-2777 White Tundra in the booster, 4 long grain, 75mm M-1066 SuperBalls in the sustainer. I didnt see any roll on the way up, but didn't get on-board video to confirm unfortunately.

Next motor combo for that stack is AT M-2500T to M-1315W.

Your telemetry doesn't have an IMU for on-board data recording?

Still playing with the data but...

Thanks, with an 8°/sec roll rate you're not producing any flow turbulence between the 4 & 3 fin stages that could result in roll interference. I'm helping an ARC team, and they have been experiencing roll and tilt flight issues. One possible issue was aerodynamic flow interference between the drag canards and the three stability fins. Different from your configuration, but I check all possibilities.

I look forward to viewing the complete animated dynamic flight, like Kip's MESOS flight.

A few of us were out recovering our AMRAAM today and pulled 2 sections of green booster out of the field from what looked like a 2 or 3 stage attempt.. Looked like a 54mm cti case in one of them. We turned it in to the LCO around 1 today and then moved it to the container during cleanup. I have no pictures but I can provide our track if your interested in where it landed. The two pieces were about 300 ft apart and 400 ft from our recovery location.

Yeah, I found it. Dad and I were sitting down there so we waited about an hour and nobody came for it. I shook it out of the tree it was in (next to the gully).

I was walking it back to the lost and found, and some gentlemen on the way (I think near the Science Education Center tent) stopped us, said they knew you and would get it back to you. I had seen them looking for it earlier, but the problem was, it flew way too well and actually went all the way down to a tree on the other side of the gully and got stuck in a tree. They were about 100 feet off from where it landed. I handed it over to them. I was exhausted (blood sugar was getting low) so I probably should have got their names or something but I was getting tired.

They said it was an upscale of the Citation Patriot? I thought that was a beautiful flight.
Upscale of the Citation Bomarc, and Yes I have it and will get it to you!

Got my L1! Huge thanks to @bad_idea for doing the cert! Also to @Chad for helping out! My health has been real poor the past year, and I've been mostly bedridden since I got back home, but it was an absolute blast. Can't wait to go back next year.

That's an SBR Diablo, flew it on an H283T-7.

Hope you get well soon! Congratulations again! Also, welcome to the money pit! :D

I know this is a long shot but I am looking for someone who may have gotten a lift-off shot of my rocket. Nadine was unable to get one and my phone didn't record when I pressed play.
It was off pad 72 early on Saturday. 5.5" - Grey with a checkered payload and red nose cone. On an EX M2300.
I know this is a long shot, but I just wanted to put it out there and hope for a miracle.
Thanks

Hey folks.
We left quite quickly on Sunday afternoon to get back to Michigan. Totally didn't clean out my 75 at motor casing of the liner, etc. Now... she's in there good. Suggestions for how to save my 7680 case?

Appreciate the advice all!

Forward seal disc and a piece of PVC pipe about as long as the case.

Put the PVC pipe on end on the ground, put the seal disc on top of it, slip the case over it and push down. It's been a short enough period of time, that should get it to move.
