Ahh nuts...ST-76 tube length

Does anyone know the length of PART I on the Parts Identification List part for the Shuttle with Stacks # 1284

I) Fin Unit Body Tubes (type ST-76 ) (031052)

which is what attaches into the Shuttle's Stacks prior to flying ?

I just realized I need these, and while I have the proper tubing, these suckers are long - 18 to 24 inches in length- so I'll need to cut them down to size.

I checked online, and even Ninfingers page on tube lengths doesn't have this one listed.

The Fin Unit Body Tubes (type ST-76 ) (031052) in my kit are 6.5 inches long.

Many thanks - I was thinking 9 inches - so I'm glad I aksed before building and launching it and seeing it go unstable. 8)
