I'm working on a LOC 5 1/2 inch V-2. I was test fitting the Aeropack retainer just now and it's very loose. Can I just use a little more Epoxy or JB Weld and will it still work?

I've only used an Aeropack once before, and it was very snug. I had to screw it on the motor tube.

yes. Just get a good amount on the inside of the retainer and MMT. As long as it gets glued on and doesn't juggle AFTER you JB weld it on that motor will be in as long as the tube is!!

Thanks Ben, that's what I was hoping someone would say.

It'll work fine - just goop on the JB-weld fairly well. Be careful though - you don't want to get any glue on the inside of the MMT (I've done that before, and it takes an amazingly long time to get it out).
