Aerobee-High

I kit-bashed this one from an Estes Hi-Flier XL kit using dimensions from one of Peter Alway's books.

My gap staged one has yet to fly ( think an old Sport rocketry mag had the plans ).

I've always loved Aerobee Hi's. I may have gotten carried away with this one.

what motors will it use?

It flew on a Cesaroni M2045 to an altitude of 6830'. Flew beautifully, pretty hard to make an Aerobee Hi not fly straight with those fins. I have an Aerotech M1315 that may have its name on it.

Kind of a short stubby nose cone for an Aerobee.
