Advice needed on coupler bulkhead

I am extending my LOC Warlock by an additional body tube length. I have the LOC 7.51 coupler bulkhead combination and was wondering how far the coupler should extend into the lower tube. This is still motor ejection at this point. I am thinking that 2 inches into the lower tube is adequate but wanted to run the idea by the experts. Help is greatly appreciated.

At least one body diameter is the rule of thumb I've always heard.

The one body diameter is a good idea..However, I think you could probably be good with 4 inches, 2 inches is a little on the short side...But, if you have a long enough coupler(15 inches in this case) one body diameter in both sections..
