First let me establish I know nothing about shipping motors (hazmat fees) or BATF storage regulations. With that said...

I am going for my Level 1 Cert. I want to keep everything as simple as possible so there is less to go wrong.
If I am correct, I can purchase one (and only one) "H" motor for my cert flight.

Is there anyone out there sitting on a single use AeroTech H45W that would consider selling it for a good cause? (level 1 flight)
Thanks

SU H's are pretty hard to find...it'd be a better investment to buy some 29mm or 38mm hdware and a reload. when do you plan to cert? what rocket?

I plan to cert as soon as I get my ducks in a row. All I need is the motor. I have custom decals ordered and it would be nice if the project was totally complete, but of course it isn't necessary to fly.

The rocket is the "Wraith" by Underdog Rockets.

You'll probably have to ask someone you're certing with and/or who has an LEUP to receive the motor for you.

Ellis Mountain sells S/U H motors. Check with the vendors listed on their site to see if any will ship HAZMAT to an LEUP holder.

Why not cert at a sanctioned/club launch with vendors present? No LEUP or HAZMAT involved. Buy it and use it right then and there.

That is a good possibility since Ken from Performance Hobbies is around here frequently. It looks like he will be here in April. :(
