Advertisement: NIB Estes Astron Farside available for trade

Hello,

I have an original Estes Astron Farside available for trade. The kit is complete in an unopened package. All of the tubes are perfectly round and the kit is entirely complete.

The bag and hang tag do show signs of wear, but there are no holes in the bag and it is in good condition.

I don't have pictures of the kit uploaded at this time, but could post some later this evening if anyone is interested.

These kits sell pretty high on eBay, and the Pad 17 auction report lists it at around $175 (which is consistent with what they fetch on eBay)

Ideally, I'd like to find someone with an Estes Nomad (#1344) and a Hyperion (#1383) who would like to do a swap. Based on the auction values of those two kits, this would be a heck of a deal.

However, if no one has either of those two kits, I'll be happy to entertain other offers. I'm not really interested in cash, I'd rather see if I can trade it.

I should probably add a couple other kits that I'm interested in:

Alien Invader, Starfighter Combo Kit, Nova Scout Ship, (or some nose cones to match the Alien Invader and/or Nova Scout Ship/Starship Nova,) Skytracer, USS Pleiades, Vindicator, Colossus, the Bat, Wasp, Astro Bee, Strike Fighter, Black Hawk, Space Transporter America, World Federation Star Probe

I'm sure there's something out there for anyone interested in this rare kit.

I see you mention the Colossus, I saw one on ebay about 3 weeks ago, don't recall ever seeing one before or since. Don't know what it ended up going for but I'm sure it was over $100. I always remember thinking as a kid, man that is one big rocket. Of course these were the days before hi-power and such....

I might change my mind on the Colossus - It's my understanding that you can clone one by starting with a Maxi Alpha 3 and extending the body tube. Just paint it accordingly and get some repro decals (TangoPapa has 'em.)
