It is very unlikely that this project will ever be done again. No one will
be insane enough to do this again. And we doubt that we will fly it again.
This makes it a very historic event in Tripoli history and we would like to
give you all a way to own a piece of history and a way to help fund this
historic flight.
We are making up postcards with a picture of the project and team on one
side and project statistics on the other. There is also be a place to
record the flight data - altitude and speed. These postcards will be in a
payload bay in the project and flown. After recovery, the flight data will
be written in, addressed, stamped, and mailed from the Gerlach post office.
We will fly extras in the project, but purchases received after Sept 7 will
not be postmarked from Gerlach.
If you would like to own one of these pieces of history, they are available
for $15. To get one, all you need do is to PayPal me the $15 (send money to
the email address [email protected]). Make sure that the
address you want the card sent to is the "shipping address" that you select
when you make the PayPal payment.
