I guess it was a slightly premature 'more, more, more'. (Or he makes Billy look like an amateur. . . )

Chucked the rocket into the wood lathe to file the chamfer on the C-55 coupler at the nose cone junction.

I think it'll give it unique look. Kind of like the swaged end of the casing where it meets the bullet.

Breaking my own re-coat rule of "wait at least 3 times what the manufacturer states" I painted the repairs today.

The Krylon Super Maxx paint I'm using is over 10 years old. I originally used this to paint the interior of a 1965 Chevy C-10 pickup. Surprisingly it's very similar to the OEM color. I'm really impressed with how this paint shoots.
