It would not be fair to the puppy to live with us. We have 6 cats. I would love one, still not fair.

Today was Xmas at the dog park. We had Coffee, hot chocolate, cookies, brownies and more. it was only 3 above, but the kids had a blast.
Woody's most favorite thing other than hunting is getting the bird. He dives into snow drifts to fetch it.

Our Stella & Eddie

QAnd Eddie, is a terrier.. he thinks he is bigger than he physically is.. and he's good at lettings us know when the neighbours are home, when they are walking thier dogs, when the garbage man comes.. he's good at letting us know .. anything that is happening in our neighbourhood!!

Good for you both. I’m intrigued. What is an agility contest for a dog?

never mind, I got I lazy and googled it. Sound like you guys are quite a team!
The particular trial that was followed by that photo was interesting -- it was two weeks after last year's Spaceport America Cup; I was one of the many people who got Covid at the cup, so it was one week after I was back out of bed. And it was in Mayhill, NM, which is at an altitude of 6580' ASL. So Buddy was making great runs (six qualified scores in nine runs) while I was just sort of wheezing along behind him. I've been saying ever since that it's a good thing he's smart enough to read the numbers on the cones.

Timber just turned 2 on Dec 8th. He is the one on the far right in the living room pic. He tops the scales at 110 lbs. It's my fault, at about 4 weeks old, he got brisket.

Last week I had to have my 8 year old Shepherd/Husky mix, Woodstock, put down. He had developed bladder cancer and it was aggressive. This is the first time in 45 years that I haven't had a Canine Kinder in the house.

Woodstock was a sweet, gentle soul and the goofiest dog I've had in my life. :) He spoke Husky all the time. I'm not ready for a new puppy yet but will be in 2 or 3 months.
