I'm not certain the attachments are correct..

One seems more complicated and time consuming for sure..
I think it'd come out better..

I have to finish the turkey..
And dumplings don't go with beef stew,, do they ??

Teddy

Why does the second recipe seem to stop short of finishing..
It doesn't say what to do with the dumplings after they're under a plastic sheet..

Teddy

Why do I sense I'm going to regret asking this.. lol..

OK, I read both recipes for you. The first one is the one that has you put the dumplings under a sheet...
But the last paragraph of the directions (above the dumplings directions) has you do this:

Stir in the turkey meat, lemon juice and green beans. Add the Dumplings in a single layer (leave as squares or pat into rounds). Cover and simmer until the Dumplings are cooked through, about 20 minutes. Ladle into bowls; top with chives.

So there ya go... No jokes even... Well, not yet. They're still simmering...
