A post eating forum?

I just posted a bunch of pics to the Plaster Blaster thread in the Events forum, and from the main menu, I am listed as the newest post, but after entering the event forum, I'm not listed as the most recent posts, and the thread ends before my posts. I can get to my posts by clicking the arrow next to my name in the main menu, but otherwise they don't seem to be there anymore!

The same thing is happening to most of the posts I have just made!

What's happening? Is it a glitch in the system due to my using a Mac?
