First up is the Hyper Velocity Test Vehicle. Found a very small thumbnail
drawing in The Dream Machines. I had originally built an 13mm version. This
iteration is an 18mm motor, VCP drawn shrouds from file folders.

Next up is the logo rocket from Jonrockets. BT60 based using ping pong balls.

Another "Fred" rocket. (that's what I call all my rockets that don't have a real name).:D BT55/18mm motor. I wanted to use partial body tubes as fin bits. ;)

Just started working on this one. Read the thread about favorite planes and
remembered the Goblin myself. Cool idea, for a plane. BT60 based. Pity it's
only 13mm motor mount. Should I even try to make it glide, (ala Fake Wulf)?

Garsh!!!!! That is just tooooo cool!

And, it probably was a good idea for you to give the JonRocket.com logo rocket more than the two fins the one pictured in our logo actually has. :)

Very nice work! It would be hard to pick a favorite. Let us know how they fly. Ted

Mike,

Can you say if you used a nose cone for the body of this design? (What NC? Where could I get one?)

Or did you "roll your own" (somehow), and if you did, HOW IN THE HECK did you make that work?

No Balsa, all file folder paper. I used VCP shroud template to create a shroud,
from 2.6 in down to an 1/8 in. BT20 core with CR20/xx where 'xx' is different
sizes. eg.CR2060, cr2055, cr20/50 for support. Then coat the whole thing with
thin CA.

Those are so sweet rockets!
very nice work, don't forget launch pics:D

Fer sure! :D

Just a quick post to get past the triple 6 post count!..

Ah man!
You beat me to the Jon-Rocket logo!
Been eyeballing that design since their website came up.

Very neat rockets you got there. Wonder if you could make the XF-85 Goblin a parasite like the original?
