Yup, getting back to Tad's build - looking good!

If you do use the Rotalocs, one more tip - the base plate is flat and doesn't sit against the tube ID very well. I gently bend them in a vise to curve them out a bit. This is an operation that has the most likelihood of weakening the weld between the nut and the baseplate, so care should be taken. You don't need to bend the plate much at all. I just bend it a little bit, check it, bend it a little more, etc. It is fairly easy to get it to fit perfectly against the tube.

Yup. Yup. Totally see that. Good "heads up". Was already thinking about the body contour, so thanks.

MtManak, McMaster's has everything, I know. Love them. But do you know if they have the 1010 rail buttons? Thought I had some extras laying around. Need to order some. Would be nice to get it all in one order. (like that ever happens....) :)

I am not aware of McMaster having rail buttons (astonishing, since they seem to have everything!). Been getting all my rail buttons from Binder Design for quite some time. I really like the ones they sell. Their version of screw switches also rock.

The airfoils I have that can take a 1/4"-20 screw I got at Apogee. Apogee is expensive and you can find airfoil buttons elsewhere, but these were the only ones I could find that were setup for 1/4"-20 "out of the box".

Oh yeah, Binder Design is great. I have bought several 38mm casings and nozzles from Mike. Good man. I'll check out his rail buttons. Thanks.

You were not the one insulting me :). Move on with your build.
If you're going to insult Stuart, do it properly..... “I don’t want to talk to you no more, you empty-headed animal-food-trough wiper. I fart in your general direction. Your mother was a hamster, and your father smelt of elderberries.”

And I've seen what he can do engineering wise. 3 holes in a line is not an issue.... If that's what's needed.
