So I lost my PR Competitor 4 to a tree. Sucked to lose a 76-3000 case, GWiz MC, PF MAWD, Transmitter and the rocket. So, to replace it, I ordered up some more tubing from Curtis and have decided to change it up a little bit. 0.125" G10 fins matched to the Aerotech Arreaux profile. That, along with some other changes, it should be a better rocket.

Without delay, here are the first few pictures.

to a tree?? how high up is it? that sucks man...i feel your pain.

GL with the build.

I'd whip out a chainsaw and cut down that no good rocket eating tree right then and there...:kill:

Hopefully you'll get most of it back if or when the weather eats away the shock cord.

The landowner won't allow it :(

Nice choice--lot like the top of my L3 project (sustainer=2X upscaled Arreux) except used phenolic tubing with CF covering and surface mount fins. Hopefully going for its shakedown flight next w/e. No trees there!
