3D Printing 3d Printer Firmware

I have an Ender 3 Pro and I am upgrading components as I can. I started modifying the firmware after upgrading the motherboard to Creality 4.2.7. Recently I put in the extended Z rails. When I went to update the firmware the versions for Marlin changed.

Well, I upped Marlin to 2.1 and now it says the motherboard is undefined. Any thought? Or any tips in general?

Go to Insanity Automation of FB and follow it to their website. Look under firmware projects. They have an incredible library of battle tested firmware builds.
