Then working on these files for quite a while.
X-15 was a 24 mm motor mount.
It was printed in course mode, Just to prove out concept and fitting.
1st flight will be some 18 mm motor.
Like I said, she's a Rough print, But flyable.
I broke it up into 3 individual Prints, tail section, main body and nose cone.

One picture show a CTI 24mm 3 grain case for Size comparison....

A little bit of sanding And she doesn't look as rough.
I will Share the STL when it's done.

I've had 2 flights so far. There is a big need for more weight than I imagined in the nose cone.
1st flight went up straight for about a 100' and then started skywriting. The 2nd flight was a little bit more stable, And tipped into the wind quite a bit. It was a windy day.
I'm trying to figure out a way to add more weight.
I now have access to lead powder.

I think printing it slightly larger would be the best approach to being able to add more nose weight and probably just print some centering rings for the motor tube. Is your nose cone hollow or is it filled in with infill? On something like that, 2mm walls 0 infill would work nicely.

The nose cone is hollow with thicker walls.
I have thought about making it larger. That would probably make it easier to deal with.
