Depending on the number of entries and the number of prizes, I like the idea of using categories. But then contestants would have to declare the category for the entry since some might cross boundaries. And I suppose the voters would get one vote in each category (?). I like the different categories for HPR, MPR, and LPR.

For prizes, I would let winner #1 have first pick of the items (or only give 3 items, save the others for later contests / give-aways) then let winner #2 pick from the remaining two or more, and the third gets to either pick 3rd or get the last gift. The idea being that while you may be entered in as 'HPR' you might want the Estes plastic 12" chute for some reason..

Are we allowed to enter more than once? one entry per person per contest?

I am ok with more than one entry but you can only win once per context (If you enter 3 items, you cannot sweep all the prizes). I am ok with reentry of the the other non-winning items the next context.

    Hello,

I've already create a Redstone IRBM nose cone for a kit bash of the Estes Mercury-Redstone and a 4" version for the LOC airframe tubing. I'm also creating a 1/6.65 scale of the Sprint. Got the lower stage completed. Working on the upper stage now.

If you want the STL files, PM me.

If I can get the Sprint stable with scale fins, I'll present a kit for a prize. Should have it done by the end of the year.

My first 3D printer just arrived, but I'm traveling, so I can't begin the build until this weekend...looking forward to seeing people's designs! I'm a frank noob, so need to learn the software too...probably won't be entering this round, but a great idea, Chuck.
