    On the ESTES 2157 what year was this produced? I don't stay on top of stuff like this? I'm assuming its an older kit from what the 90's??

    Production release 1999, I believe. it is the 30th Anniversary model

    Not sure - it is shrinkwrapped - this is what I found on the specs:

    the 2016 version looked like this, so I think the 1999 version is similar:

    How long have you had the kit and during that time how was it stored?

    I have had it for a few years - obviously, it is a 1999 kit. It has been stored on a shelf in a cool, dry basement.

    I'm tempted to buy, but it might sit before I get to it. Bad habit buy stuff you don't build right away, for me anyways, but I'll kick it around.
