27.open Zagreb championship (Croatia)

Yesterday after no conests for some time, we had a contest for primary and secondary scools in Zagreb!
18mm A motors and rockets, separate parachute and streamer event, 3 starts with 2 models.

Yes, field is really nice, but only for low power rockets, it is long and narrow; actually it is a "channel" around Zagreb, and it is water-relief for river Sava during winter.
The weather was really nice ( 28 deg. C , 82 F ) and kids were happy to lounch some rockets after a long brake.

Aha, so flood control. Looks like a excellent field if the wind is blowing in the right direction. Do you get your 18mm motors locally or from international vendors ?

That's it, flood control!
We are using Klima motors for this events (before we were using some other bp motors)
For FAI competitions we are using 10mm composite motors

Thanks for the report. My wife is of Croatian heritage and we toured there extensively back in 2018. Zagreb is a nice city, especially the old part of the city up the hill. Likely to get back there to visit the relatives again.
