This is too bad. I wasn't a big fan of his music at the time, but I had recently learned from the Key and Peele movie Keanu that George Michael was a badass.

2016 keeps taking and taking...

Yeah, but how different is 2016? Statistically, the same number of people died last year as this year, including entertainers.

It is just perception, based on your tastes or age group. I am sure that my 17-year-old would not consider 2016 an especially bad year.

Yeah, many of us are at the age where the people we idolized when we were younger are nearing life's end. It just feels like it has been exceptional this year, but I haven't run the numbers.
