This is a Really Slick Sport Model, right? The darn thing looks fast standing still, like a Fiery Dart! However, like many kits from the late '90s, this Dart comes with a Gaudy, Wonky, Peel & Stick Flame Livery. I tried applying the first Flame Wrap, and decided I could not abide by it.

I wondered briefly about a white stripe and roll pattern, the opposite of the early '70s Alpha Livery, but ended up with a 2X Marigold Accent Stripe and Fin.

Now, it occurs to me that by adding one more Stripe and Fin in 2X Real Orange my Wildfire will have all the colors that normally suggest Fire, but in a more-befitting, streamlined package. After the Marigold cures I'll post follow-up with orange.

Added the 2X Real Orange Stripe. I'll let it cure, wet sand, and shoot a Gloss Coat.

I like it! I may be stealing this paint scheme for one of my projects.
