I found out that there will not be any Uni-Strut rails available at LDRS-41. I have a rocket that I want to launch that has Uni-Strut buttons mounted with 1/4-20 flat head screws.
I've been searching vendors for a set of 1515 buttons that will mount with 1/4-20 hardware. So far, I haven't found any or none that have replied back to me.

Does anyone know of a vendor or manufacture that makes 1515 buttons that mount with 1/4-20 hardware?

Thanks...

If you look at the 1515 profile, the wall thickness on a delrin button would be too thin at the throat with a 1/4" clearance hole. You'd have to create something yourself. Maybe a bit of K&S tubing flared with a nylon washer top and bottom.
Your best bet would be to use a smaller bolt. Get a 1/4 bolt and drill and tap it 8-32 for a bit. Then cut that off and insert it into your existing threaded holder.IMG_20230509_103556.jpg

My 1515 buttons have a 1/4" hole. The wall is thin and you have to be careful not to tighten them too far. Most 1515 buttons are sized for 1/4, not the 1010 buttons shown in the sketch (8-32 is a giveaway).

1515 rail buttons are generally for 10-32 which is 3/16". Using an 8-32 was so you had some meat left in the 1/4 bolt to get a thread into it. Otherwise, you would have been trying to thread into the existing thread of the 1/4 bolt. Not the metal......
Whatever works for you. Obviously depends on what you're launching, what motor and how much strength you need.

If you do not find anyone that still makes them, contact me as I still have a couple sets that I bought 12+ years ago and can let a set go.

Easy day, these can be had in different hardware to suit your needs. I use these 1010 and 1515 rail buttons in 8-32 so that they're effectively interchangeable.

Here's the listing for 1515 in 1/4-20 for less than $5.

Thanks...

I'm actually trying two swap from Uni-Strut to 1515 since they won't have Uni-Strut available at LDRS 41 this year.

Fruity Chutes won't take orders for less than $25 and there really isn't anything else I need, so..... guess I'll keep looking.
