OK,
As the house cleaning continues I have discovered a dozen Estes 13mm engine retainer hooks. I have not built a 13mm model in at least 15 years yet these things keep multiplying in my motor hook drawer! Can anyone here put them to good use?

rokitflite-

Your profile says you're in Maryland, do you fly with NARHAMS?

If so, there's a 4xA cluster competition event coming up in April, so start building a 4x mini cluster rocket for that!

I'll likely have some kind of "sorta-Kit" available at the Feb. 5th cluster building session. It will likely be a 13/18mm combination design. Similar to this;

Scott,

I already have one that I'll never use, but I've asked some rocket buddies if they need any. Good luck with finding a taker!

John - looks slick! It's exactly like what I had envisioned except I was going to go with a 4x13mm design. Any reason why a 13mm/18mm combo is better (delay options maybe?)?

Still have some research to do, A8-5 looks like the best option for the delay, alot depends on the optimum weight trade-offs. Frontal area may offset the coast time gain.. Still in the R&D phase on this re-design.
