I have a model ready to fly that will accept a motor longer than recommended E30-4T 24mm motor.
I've heard that it the model flies low and slow on the E30, so I'm looking into other motor options with a slightly higher total impulse.
The low length to diameter ratio adds challenges to the stability simulation software, so I'm looking for those who have flown the JL II with the F44, F39, or F32 motors along with any modifications they made prior to the flight.

Flown mine on the E20 and E30. Prefer the E20 as it’s not so violent off the pad.

I’ve seen one fly on the D12 and I don’t think I’d try that even under perfect conditions.

fly it on the E30 first. You might be surprised.
