Sexy Nike is a twist. Since the rocket is a Nike Smoke, shouldn't she have a cigarette? :)

Anyway, super cool project. Under the rules, a full launch report including pictures and video are required.

As a distiller, I approve of the use of gin.

Would be a hoot if you could carry the launch live. Places like Ustream do it for free, if you can get a good network connection at the launch site.

Yes, the nose cone is embedded slightly in the ground. And one fin parted on impact with the ground. Ethan says it's fixable. Next flight might be an R....

Really "stuck" the landing! This has always been a favorite rocket of mine. Great job!

Talk about a mirror finish on that rocket--wow! Like looking into a reflective pool in the video.

    9000 feet approx

Not sure about Debbie, but Kim is L3 certified (her husband Kelvin got his L3 on Sunday [not with this rocket]). And they are all avid GIN consumers.

Nice flight. The rocket looks a tad out of scale like it's stretched or something

Like DRAGON64 said, very little roll; a little over 360 degrees in 9000 feet! That shows remarkable craftsmanship and precision in building the rocket.

Thanks guys. It was a little loose on the scale front (couldn't bear to cut the hand made carbon fiber tube shorter) and there are a few other tweaks on the NC and fins. Personally I think it looked sexual but I am biased

Also, thanks for humping all the heavy bits back to the truck dean! I passed out spooning the rocket not too long after that, appreciate the effort
