Does anyone have any experience with the effects of temperature on components in an electronics bay during a flight to say, 25,000 feet? The temperature at higher altitudes becomes low at 25000 feet, and I would like to know if there are any ways I can find out how components such as an...
The usual electronics bay consists of a vertical slab with all kinds of sensors strapped to it.
Question is, if I have a large enough ID, could I fit all electronics flat onto the bulkhead in one or maybe two layers?
Would this increase the chance of the acceleration mess with the electronics...
I have spent some time evolving thoughts and designs for electronics bays. What I desire in an electronics bay is:
RF transparent because I want to put telemetry broadcasting electronics inside the bay. This means no threaded rods the length of the bay that block RF.
Maximum space for...
I received an electronics bay from Wildman Rocketry. It is a very basic kit, 1 32mm fiberglass coupler and two bulk plates (See Pictures).
I have never worked with metal bulk plates before. I was wondering if I could get some ideas on how to pass the electrical signal from my altimeter inside...
I'm looking to make an AV Bay that would fit inside of a tube coupler for a 38 MM body tube (~5" long), with a redundant system, but space is limited. Am I dreaming? Can just such a system safely fit in that small of a space (including batteries)? Pictures greatly welcomed.
Just to be clear...
I want to go to the next step and add electronics to my rocket. I don't know where to begin is there any good step by step tutorials that could walk me through the process.
Thanks in advance
