Anyone else going to this launch?

I'll make the trip for August 3rd. Planning on flying my Mongoose 54 on a 54-2550 Kosdon L850S clone. Should break 18k'.

Assuming that goes well and I retrieve it by noon, I may put up my Broken Arrow XP on a 76-6000 M1900 White.

bye then we will be flying at Mid-field so you will have a few thousand more feet of recovery area and it is onions and carrots in that direction.

Should ALSO mention that because of the TRA rule changes both days are EX Thanks Deb K.

Assuming a beeper is pretty much required, then?

Mounted my brand new Tragic Little Aerospace GPS unit in the cone and wired up the Raven2 for deployment in the Mongoose. Motor is loaded and ready to go, complete with 2.5" smoke grain.

My other flight, assuming a smooth recovery of the Mongoose, will be my 4" Broken Arrow XP on a 54-4G Red motor, which should be about a K550. Expected altitude of 3,800'.

Forecast isn't looking to positive for this weekend in Canandaigua. Major bummer, but still planning to make it out West.

New plan is to still fly the Broken Arrow XP on a 54-1400 red, but my Intimidator 3 on a 54-1200 Aluminum load will replace the Mongoose...

I only made it out Sunday, and it was reeeeallllyyy windy. Good times anyways. A few rockets got fed to the corn gods :\

Your post makes me feel better about not making the 430 mile round trip! Wish I could have flown with you guys, but it just was not to be. Maybe next month?

Our next launch is September 28, 29. Hopefully most of the crops will be gone by then!!
