Just for fun, and a spare Estes Saturn V kit and some tubes and a need to cluster this SOB.

Let`s begin.....

I will keep words to a minimum.......

SRBs painted and decaled.

The SRBs are for 18mm engines

Took a long time to find the right colors to paint this thing.I think I got it looking good enough.

Cheers

:surprised:
Brilliant !

Sodmeister build threads are one of the highlights of this forum. Been busy this winter ?

Very sweet!!
Now that will have some lift! not like the single D12 that the instructions say to use.
Great job on the build and paint.

I tried to something similar to my Estes Saturn V many years ago... proved to be beyond my skill level... your rocket looks fantastic!

As usual Paul, skills are off the chart!!

Wiping the drool off my chin as I write this.....

Always a kind word from you gentlemen.....It`s appreciated !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It should be finished tonight, just gluing on the boosters and a few nick-knacks.

Will it fly...who knows ,going to find out sooner or later ,should be cool either way ,but let`s hope for the better LOL

Take care my friends !

This is pure insanity but in a really cool way.

You are indeed correct.I must say however ,sometimes the voices in my head come up with the odd good idea, or at least they seem like good ideas ??

It should be noted,as i forgot to mention ,the engine nozzles for the SRBs were made from Estes conical nosecones ,chopped up and re-fitted together.

That was my idea...not the voices

Regards
