Back in the late 60's I mail ordered my first K-33 Trident-III directly from Estes for about 4 bucks. Waited the 3 or 4 weeks for delivery on pins and needles.. This model is gonna be COOL! Long story short the post office somehow managed to mangle the package badly crimping the BT-5's and loosing several of the parts. Heart broken I never got around to building a Trident-III until the Trident-II was introduced in 1990. Liked it so much, when Micro Maxx came about I just had to downscle a real Micro Trident-III to fly and work just like the full size model.
Matters not the size or Scale the Trident-III is one of those Classic designs that just has to be added to the fleet.
